Product Updates
See what's new and improved for the Libryo Sites application
Last updated: 30 June, 2026
April – June 2026
A busy quarter focused on the things you use most: a faster, smarter Requirements export,
finer control over how your legislation is translated, a rebuilt Drives experience, and a
steady stream of reliability fixes. Here's everything that happened between April and June.
✨ New Features & Enhancements
🈸 Choose how your legislation is translated

What’s New:
You can now control your interface language and your content language independently. This means you're no longer locked into a single language setting that applies to everything, the platform adapts to how you actually work with legislation.
What You Can Do:
-
Set the Libryo interface to your preferred display language
- Choose separately whether legislation and requirements appear translated or in their original language
- For example, run the platform in English while reading Chinese law in Chinese
Why This Matters:
Interface language and legal language aren't always the same need. This update gives you both controls independently, so you never have to compromise between platform usability and reading legislation in its source language.
Who Is This For:
All Libryo users, particularly those working across multilingual jurisdictions.
How to Get Access:
Head to Profile & Settings and look for the new translation option in your language preferences.
✔️ New Bulk-delete tasks in Task Manager

What’s New:
Task creators and organisation admins can now select and delete multiple tasks at once directly in Task Manager, no support request needed. Every bulk deletion is confirmed before it happens and recorded with a full audit trail.
What You Can Do:
- Select multiple tasks at once in Task Manager
- Delete them in bulk with a confirmation step before anything is removed
- Review a clear audit trail of who deleted what and when
Why This Matters:
Clearing out outdated or completed tasks used to mean deleting one by one or raising a support ticket. Now it takes a few clicks, with built-in safeguards to keep your records clean and accountable.
Who Is This For:
Task creators and organisation admins.
🚩 Dutch is now a display language

What’s New:
Dutch is now available as a full display language across the entire Libryo platform — not just as a translation option within Requirements. Set it once under Profile & Settings and it carries across every session.
Why This Matters:
Dutch-speaking users can now navigate the whole platform in Nederlands, not just access translated content.
Who Is This For:
All Libryo users who prefer to work in Dutch.
🔍 Enhancements
-
A faster, smarter Requirements export — The Requirements Excel export now reflects exactly what you have on screen, including any active Topic filters. Files are leaner and open noticeably faster, and we've added two new columns: compliance status by requirement, and suggested tasks.
-
Higher-quality translations across 7 languages — We replaced machine translations with human-verified content for Latin American Spanish, European French, German, Japanese, Arabic, Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
-
A rebuilt Drives experience — The upgraded Drives module is now live, with bulk file upload, improved tag search and visibility, clearer file information, task-status visibility against files, and a refreshed folder and file view.
-
Reminder emails now show the stream — Task reminder emails include the relevant stream name, so recipients can see at a glance which stream a reminder relates to.
-
Tailored onboarding for SSO users — Users who sign in via single sign-on now receive an onboarding email series built for SSO, rather than the standard sign-up sequence.
🛠 Fixes & Stability Improvements
-
Topic search now responds as you type — Partial search terms surface matching topics progressively (typing "energ" now finds "Energy"), with child topics shown alongside their parent.
-
Recurring task notifications — Fixed recurring tasks that were triggering multiple incorrect email notifications to assignees.
-
Reminder email timing — Reminders now trigger from a task's due date rather than its start date.
-
Overdue tasks in Task Manager — Overdue tasks now display correctly where previously only a count appeared.
-
Legal register exports — Resolved a file-formatting issue that caused some exports to open with a corruption warning in Excel.
-
Actions module — Fixed a blank Checklist tab, restored the missing Task Priority option, corrected status changes in Multi-Stream mode, and fixed the compliance-status filter so it applies to Action Areas correctly.
